FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Is the filler treatment painful?

The latest generation of fillers already contains a local anesthetic—lidocaine—so additional numbing is not necessary, but if needed, a topical anesthetic cream can be applied before the procedure. Most patients find the treatment quite painless and tolerable.

2. What is the difference between hyaluronic acid and silicone (biopolymers)?

Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that is completely absorbed by the body and gives a natural look after application. Biopolymers, methacrylate, and silicone are synthetic materials that cannot be broken down and remain in the body permanently, very often causing complications over time.

3. What is the difference between various hyaluronic acid brands and their prices?

We use only premium brands with proven quality and safety. During the consultation, your doctor will recommend which brand is the best solution for your specific procedure.

4. How can a patient decide what’s best for them?

The first step is to schedule an appointment so one of our medical experts can determine the best solution for your face. Our approach is highly individualized, so you’ll receive a recommendation tailored specifically to you. Sometimes one method is enough, while other times a combination of procedures is necessary to achieve the desired result.

5. What is the difference between laser and traditional liposuction?

Traditional liposuction is performed under general anesthesia and is more aggressive than laser liposuction, which can be done under local anesthesia, allowing the patient to leave the clinic shortly after. Recovery time is much quicker with laser liposuction, and wearing a compression garment is recommended for only about a week, compared to 6–8 weeks for traditional liposuction. Importantly, laser liposuction provides better results, as it not only melts fat cells but also tightens and firms the skin during the same procedure, helping to avoid uneven or sagging skin—a common issue with traditional liposuction.

6. How do I choose the right doctor?

Choosing the right doctor for an aesthetic procedure is one of the most important steps in undergoing cosmetic correction. It’s crucial to check whether your doctor is trained in aesthetic medicine and how much experience they have. Procedures should always be performed in licensed medical facilities—not in beauty salons.

7. Can a patient return to daily activities after an aesthetic procedure?

Depending on the procedure, the skin may react with redness, swelling, or bruising. Your doctor will provide aftercare instructions, including what to avoid, but generally, you can resume your regular activities immediately.

8. How many PRP treatments are recommended and when are the results visible?

PRP treatments are typically done in a series of three, with one-month intervals between sessions. Initial skin improvements are visible about a week after the first treatment, while final results appear after completing the full series.

9. At what age can aesthetic procedures begin?

There is no strict age limit for starting aesthetic treatments. The most important factor is whether there is a clear indication or need for the procedure.

10. Is Botox treatment safe?

Botox is considered one of the least painful procedures, as it is injected into the muscle using extremely fine and short needles.

11. Can men undergo aesthetic procedures?

Absolutely. Aesthetic medicine is no longer limited to women. An increasing number of men are opting for both surgical and non-surgical procedures to enhance their appearance and boost self-confidence. That’s why more men are now seen in clinic waiting rooms seeking cosmetic treatments.

12. How long does the effect of hyaluronic acid last, and when should the treatment be repeated?

The duration of hyaluronic acid varies depending on the patient’s metabolism, the choice of product, and the injection technique. Most fillers last between 6 and 12 months (some even longer). Since they also stimulate collagen production, repeat treatments might not be necessary within that timeframe, especially if combined with other procedures. However, for some individuals, especially those with a fast metabolism or who are physically active, breakdown may occur sooner.

13. Will I retain a natural look after the treatment?

A good doctor will know how to enhance your facial features based on your anatomy and characteristics, avoiding an overfilled or unnatural appearance.

14. What are the side effects?

Thanks to the wide range of injection techniques and the quality of hyaluronic acid fillers, complications have become rare. Sensitivity, redness, and swelling are temporary and usually subside in a few days. Bruising may take longer to resolve, so plan your treatment in advance of important events. Asymmetry can be corrected by adding more filler or Botox, but only after about ten days. During and after the procedure, the treated area is gently massaged to help distribute the product evenly and reduce the appearance of lumps. Serious complications are very rare.

15. What is the difference between hyaluronic acid and Ellansé fillers?

Ellansé differs from other dermal fillers in its longevity, lasting from 12 months to up to 4 years. It works differently by primarily stimulating collagen production rather than simply filling volume.

16. What is the difference between Ellansé S and M collagen stimulators?

The main difference lies in how long they last: Ellansé S lasts 1 year, while Ellansé M lasts 2 years.

17. Can I use a new filler brand if I previously used a different one?

In most cases, this is not a problem, provided there were no complications with the previous treatment. You must inform your doctor about the timing, product, and dosage of your previous filler.

18. How many hairs are removed during one laser treatment and when are the first results visible?

After the first session, about 20–30% of the hair falls out. With each subsequent treatment, hair becomes thinner and less dense. Hair shedding typically starts 10–14 days after treatment. Remaining hairs grow more slowly and sparsely. So, the first results are noticeable after just one session.

19. How should I prepare for laser hair removal?

Avoid plucking or waxing hair (removal from the root) for 3–4 weeks before starting the laser treatment series. During this time, use a trimmer, razor, or depilatory cream. For each session, arrive shaved 4–24 hours before treatment. The treatment area must be clean—free of creams, makeup, or deodorant.

20. How long does a laser hair removal session last, and how often should it be repeated?

The Alma Soprano Titanium has a probe twice as large as its predecessors, making sessions significantly faster—even on large areas like legs and back. For example, full-leg treatment now takes just 20 minutes instead of 45.
Treatments are spaced every 6–8 weeks for body areas and 4–6 weeks for facial areas. The total number of sessions depends on the area being treated and hair type. You can have a free consultation with our specialists to determine what’s best for you.

21. Are there any contraindications for laser hair removal?

Yes, there are. These include pregnancy and breastfeeding, cancer, skin damage or disease in the treatment area (other areas may still be treated), herpes, use of photosensitizing medications (always inform your doctor), epilepsy, and preparation for IVF.

22. Can men undergo laser hair removal?

Of course. Men can have laser hair removal just like women. They are frequent clients, especially for areas like the back and shoulders, chest, abdomen, and neck.
