How long does the effect of hyaluronic acid last, and when should the treatment be repeated?

Most fillers last between 6 and 12 months (some even longer). Since they also stimulate collagen production, repeat treatments might not be necessary within that timeframe, especially if combined with other procedures. However, for some individuals, especially those with a fast metabolism or who are physically active, breakdown may occur sooner.
